According to a letter to the editor yesterday, the Iowa legislature
managed very quietly to pass a law saying dogs from certain (don't know
how the puppy-mill type breeders and other large breeders are legally
defined) breeders were considered "livestock," and therefore exempt
from Iowa's newly-tougher animal cruelty laws. I think that's
outrageous. They should have outlawed puppy farms, period.

So you are saying that all dog breeders should be outlawed? Not all breeders
are cruel to animals you know.
